Sony Xperia Z1 Compact specifications

The Sony Xperia Z1 was one of the best smartphones of 2013. And now on CES2013, Sony revealed two new brothers of the Z1, and one of the is the Xperia Z1 Compact.

The Xperia Z1 Compact is almost identical to the last year's Z1, with the monster 20.7MP primary camera and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. So without further adieu, let's take a look on its specifications.

Sony Xperia Z1 Compact specifications:

  • 4.3-inch HD Triluminos TFT display (1280 x 720 resolution) with X-reality Engine and IP58 certified
  • Having a pixel density of 343ppi
  • 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad-core processor
  • Adreno 330 GPU
  • 16GB Internal storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD)
  • 2GB RAM
  • 20.7MP rear camera with G Lens and LED flash
  • 1080p video recording @ 30fps
  • 2MP front-facing camera
  • 1080p video recording @ 30 fps

  • NFC, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS, USB OTG support
  • Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP
  • 2300mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery
  • Android 4.3 Jellybean

Unfortunately, Sony cut the battery of the Xperia Z1 compact to 2300mAh which maybe the downside of this smartphone since the Snapdragon 800 processor is a power hunger processor.
