Unboxing
Asus and Google made a simple box for the Nexus 7 2013. It a simple blue box on the outside and a white box on the inside which you can access by sliding it. Let's set aside the tablet first and take a look on what's inside the box.
Inside the box you'll find manuals / quick start guide, USB cable, and wall charger. And that's pretty much it.
Hands On Review
The Nexus 7 2013 is running Android 4.3 out of the box but since we got it last week, we can now upgrade it to Android 4.4.2 Kit kat (Kudos to Google though).
What a like about the Nexus 7 is its screen. It's really sharp (forgot to take a picture of it. Sorry about that.) you have to see it for yourself. It has rubberized kind of soft touch-ish back.
Upon playing it for few minutes (playing The Dark Knight, Asphalt 8, and Minion Rush), I'd say that the Asphalt 8 runs smooth while on the Dark Knight there's a little bit of stuttering on the Dark Knight maybe because there are many background effects that are going on. And we all know (for all android users) that the Minion Rush lags even on my LG G2.
