Last August 20, LG announced that they're developing the world's first QHD display for smartphones. This is a 2560 x 1440 resolution with a pixel density of 538ppi. This display was demonstrated on a 5.5-inch screen.
LG said that the panel of this new Quad High Definition(QHD) is 12% thinner than the display of LG G2 that was shown earlier this month. This panel will have a minimum bezel of 1.2mm. It is also brighter than the current display today, having a 430 nits so f brightness.
My Opinion
I know that there are a lot of android devices that have Full HD displays, which is a good thing, but is the android applications are ready for that display? There are still many apps that aren't supported in Full HD display. (Note: Again, this is just my opinion. :-D)
Anyway, what are your thoughts about the LG developing the world's first quad high definition display?
