LG G2's Kitkat update finally arrived on my G2 yesterday. It's been almost 3 weeks since it was announced by LG. So what are the things that improved? So without further adieu, let's take a look on the things that improved on the LG G2.
The first thing you'll notice after the update is that the color of the status bar changed, from blue to white. The interface also changed.
The another thing that you'll notice on the Kitkat update is the KnockOn feature become more responsive. Before when I was still on Jellybean, when my G2 is on sleep mode I need to tap my screen several times in order to wake it up but after the update, I will just tap it twice and I can now unlock the phone.
As far as heat issue is concern, I noticed that the heat issue on the upper part of the G2 decreases after the update.
When It comes to gaming, they hide the 3 or 4 software buttons on the G2 (yey!).
I didn't crop this |
One reason why some people , well on LG G2 Philippines Facebook Page, complain about is the Antutu benchmark scores become low or decrease. Well in my G2, it had a minimal decrease. But in the end, benchmarking test is just on paper though (experience > paper :D).

There's a special gift from LG after the Kitkat Update. It's the free 50GB of cloud storage for a lifetime. Yep, for a lifetime.
