My thoughts:
Between those two, I'll going to pick the LG Google Nexus 5 not because it has better specs but because it always get the latest and greatest Android updates, but it doesn't mean that the Samsung Galaxy S4 isn't a good choice, it's a great device but it lacks the fast android update (but there's a Google edition of the S4). It's just boils down to your preferences.
