My Initial Impressions / hands on review on the New Windows 8.1

Before anything else, I'm one of the people who likes using the Windows 8. Anyway, after updating my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, the first thing that I noticed was most of my tiles now have colors because in Windows 8, most of them are plain gray.

This is where Windows 8 users were excited about, the return of the start button, but I'm one of the few people who are not excited about it because I don't often use it.

Another good thing is you can now resize the tiles, but there are "limitation" upon resizing the tiles. If you're going to enlarge a tile (like the size of my desktop), the tile should be in wide size (like the size of the "Fresh Paint App"). There's also an option to shrink you tiles into smaller tiles. Another thing you'll notice is the new transition when you right click a tile. If you're going to click the small arrow that's point downward, you'll see all the applications that are installed in your pc.
Enough with the good things about it, let's talk about the bad/frustrating things that I've encountered. The first thing is when I'm going to save a picture on my desktop with the same name on it, this dialog box pops out which kinda irritating especially when you're in a hurry. So I delete the file that has the same name on it, and surprisingly it pops again. damn it! >.< In short, you can't reuse the name when you're going to save a file in the same directory.

The second thing, since I'm a gamer and I really love playing GDMO (Global Digimon Masters Online), I can't open it now because "urlmon.dll" is now missing. Sheesh...

Last thing is, when you open the Document icon, you can't now find the "My Computer", instead you'll find the "This PC" icon and when you click it, it was not arrange the way that it was arrange, and I can't rearrange it.

I don't know why these bad things happened. I don't know if it was because of the "Recommended" settings while I'm setting it up.

So what are your thoughts about the Windows 8.1? Have you experience bad things or good things?
