LG Unveils LG G Pro Lite -- A 5.5-inch Phablet with Mid-Range Specs

LG just announced yesterday, October 10, its newest mid-range phablet size smartphone -- the LG G Pro Lite. LG said that "To fulfill the needs of practical smartphone users who want to enjoy the convenience of a large display". It means that you don't need to sacrifice a lot of money just to have a phablet size smartphone so they came up with the LG G Pro Lite.

So what are the key specification of the LG G Pro Lite?
  • 5.5-inch IPS qHD display (960 x 540 resolution)
  • 1.0GHz MT6577 Dual-core Processor
  • 8GB Internal storage (expandable via microSD)
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8MP rear BSI (back-illuminated sensor) camera
  • 1.3MP front-facing camera
  • 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth
  • Dual Sim
  • Android 4.1.2 Jellybean
  • 3140mAh removable battery
The LG G Pro Lite will be available this month of October in Latin America followed by Asia, Russia, China, India, and Middle East. The pricing of it is still unknown.

My thoughts:

Well, it's a good handset since it's targeting budget consumers which means it isn't expensive. Since they're using MediaTek processor on this smartphone, why they didn't put/install/use a quad-core processor instead of a dual-core processor for better experience? I hope that this will be a hit specially here in Asia just like what happened on their first L series.

-LG fan here :D

Anyway, what are your thoughts about the LG G Pro Lite?
