The first true Octa-core Processor made by MediaTek

Last 2 weeks ago, MediaTek Inc., a leading fabless semiconductor company for wireless communications and digital multimedia solutions, announced that they will be making the first "true octa-core processor".
Unlike the Samsung Exynos 5 octa-core processor which only uses four cores out of eight cores at a time, this processor on the other hand is using all of the eight cores at the same time that means that it doubles the processing power of a quad-core chip, which also gives a smoother gameplays, browsing the web, user interfaces, and efficient video playback. MediaTek also said that while the processing power increases, it also increases power efficiency, for short better battery life.

So what are you thoughts about MediaTek making the first true octa-core processor? Will making the octa-core processor will put them on the top?
